Ontario Long Term Care Association Partners with SCA Personal Care, Cardinal Health Canada, and ArjoHuntleigh to advance quality of care for Ontario's Seniors
MARKHAM, ON, Jan. 26, 2015 - The Ontario Long Term Care Association is pleased to announce its partnership with three major industry players – SCA Personal Care, Cardinal Health Canada, and ArjoHuntleigh – who are the 2015 Platinum Members of the Association's Corporate Alliance Partnership (CAP).
The Corporate Alliance Partnership program is designed to provide a year-long platform for three commercial partners to work closely with the Ontario Long Term Care Association in delivering high-quality programming and educational opportunities to its membership. The program encompasses a multi-pronged, innovative approach, which allows the Association to support its members in knowledge-building and to provide learning opportunities that promote safe, quality long-term care for Ontario's seniors.
"The CAP program has been developed to provide our Commercial Members with a heightened opportunity to align with the Ontario Long Term Care Association through exclusive, customized marketing platforms throughout the year," said Candace Chartier, CEO of the Ontario Long Term Care Association. "Their support allows us to build excellence in the long-term care sector through our leadership, analysis, advocacy, and a variety of member services."
As the shift of care to the community continues to accelerate, the role of long-term care is changing to provide care to increasingly frail residents with complex health conditions. Now more than ever, the focus on quality improvement is critical to the sector's success in meeting the needs of today's and tomorrow's long-term care residents. With the support of SCA Personal Care, Cardinal Health Canada, and ArjoHuntleigh, the Ontario Long Term Care Association is committed to working with its members on advancing the delivery of safe, quality care for Ontario's long-term care residents.
