Moira Place Santa Claus Parade delights residents
For the past two years, Moira Place in Tweed has organized an indoor Santa Claus Parade for their 128 residents.
Staff and volunteers create floats by decorating care carts, trolleys and other items with a festive theme, and then don costumes. The parade strolls through each of the four resident areas while music is piped through the home, and the parade finale is a miniature horse-drawn sleigh with Santa - a resident dressed in a Santa Suit!
The parade is a big hit with residents, as everyone can be involved and it creates a spirit of joy that lasts for the season.
Photos of the parade are available on the home’s
Facebook page
